offshore tokyoではアーティストAZUSA IIDAとgroundsとのカプセルコレクションを発表する Exhibition 「couture」を開催 !
スニーカーは生産の自動化をはじめ、最先端の技術が取り入れられているファッションアイテム。groundsも前衛的でアイコニックなソールデザインなどとても未来的なイメージのあるブランドです。 “couture"展では、膨大な時間のかかる昔の仕立て職人の様な手法を使い、生産の自動化とは相反する要素を加える事で、スニーカーのもう一つの未来の姿を表現しました。
Trainers often incorporate the most advanced technology such as automated manufacturing systems, and 〔grounds〕is a brand known for it’s avant-garde remarkably futuristic iconic sole design. At the exhibition “Couture”, used incredibly time-consuming methods of the traditional tailoring and added elements contradictory to the automated manufacturing showing another future of trainers not as products but art.
